The Job Creation for Potential Migrants in Addis Ababa aims to create additional demand for employment opportunities through capacitating micro and small enterprises (MSEs). Therefore, the project has a plan to improve MSEs capacity and to improve large companies’ perception of MSEs work. In that sense, the project will provide tailored support to MSEs including capacity building trainings and market supports. Most importantly, the project will conduct a feasibility analysis to understand what are the constraints and barriers impeding collaboration (sub-contracting arrangements) between MSEs and large companies. The feasibility study will ascertain the viability of sub-contracting arrangements as a strategy to achieve the objective of creating additional job opportunities for potential migrants, will allow understanding existing relationships, incentive, experience and entry points to strengthen this collaboration, and will provide recommendations on how to improve such collaboration.
