Job Purpose: to provide managerial leadership to the Industrial Engineering team to provide the Factory with the systematic examination and improvement of the process steps making up any operation, in any part of the Factory, leading to more effective utilization of resources, elimination of waste and new standards for future work in support of the Factory’s cost targets, and Operations’ production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance operational results through the implementation of industrial engineering tools such as standard time, muda (waste) elimination, Factory layout and design, sharing of best practices, etc
Share best operational practices across the Factory
Provide sufficient Industrial Engineering knowledge to the Operations team to ensure production lines are properly balanced
Develop and recommend local sewer incentive schemes
Provide managerial leadership to the Industrial Engineering team
Understand and live by the Company’s core values
Take accountability for growing and continuously improving oneself
Job Requirement
Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering
6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a labour intensive manufacturing environment
Language skills:
Written and spoken English a must
