The International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) seeks to hire a Research Officer for its Resilient Agricultural Livelihood Systems (RALS) program of ICARDA who will support various on-going projects in East and North Africa. The Research Officer will work under the supervision of the Socioeconomics Team Leader and provide scientific research and project support to the RALS program. The position is based in Addis Ababa with frequent travel to different regions with in Ethiopia and project countries in the regions.

Monthly Base Salary: Birr 35,492 (Negotiable depending on experience, skill and salary history of the candidate)
Terms of appointment: This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position, initial appointment is for three and half years.
