Good Neighbors International (GNI) is the largest international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Korea, working in 35 countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America since 1991. Its core interventions for community health care program range from the empowerment of community health workers (CHWs), community mobilization, nutrition, behavior change communication, and maternal and child health (MCH) service that fill health-service gaps on community level. GNI opened its country office and became registered as a international NGO in Ethiopia in 1997 and started its community-based community development project, in Lideta, Addis Ababa. Since then GNE has been working actively in the community development projects and currently has 5 local offices (Community Development Project sites; CDPs) across Addis Ababa, Oromia and SNNP regions. Currently in partnership with Pathfinder International, it has initiated a three year maternal and child health project in five districts of Arsi Zone. The project mainly aims in addressing the three delays model for reducing maternal and child morbidity and mortality.
Job Summary
The Project assistant officer will be responsible for ensuring alignment of project activities with the public system, coordinating and implementing of the project activities, delivering results as per the project plan and reporting of project-based performances. In addition, the candidate will be responsible in liaising with the public system at Woreda and zonal level.
Major Duties:

As a result, additional duties may be assigned to this position; responsibilities changed or deleted based on team assignments and re-structuring; and direct supervisor is subject to change.
