GIZ- Sustainable Textile and IWaSP Program

In Ethiopia GIZ has been implementing development programmes on behalf of the German government for over 40 years jointly with our national partners. The focus of our work in the country is on vocational education, sustainable use of natural resources, land management and food security, biodiversity and forestry. Further programmes enhance the development of a sustainable textile sector and renewable energies.
GIZ Ethiopia (Sustainable Textile Programme (eTex) and International Water Stewardship Programme (IWaSP)) are looking to recruit four interns to join an internship programme as per the detail below.

Duration: 3-Month with possibility extension to 6-Month
The internship programme:
The eTex and IWaSP programmes are looking to start an internship training programme whereby four dynamic, flexible and pro-active fresh graduate candidates will be selected to follow a three months’ internship. The successful candidates will have the possibility to extend the programme up to six months.
The intern will be trained to work in either programmes (eTex or IWaSP). The specific training would look to enhance programme-specific as well as generic skills, such as:
