ROLE PURPOSE:
Under the guidance of the two SCI study leads and supervision of Federal Ministry of Health, the position holder will be responsible for coordinating and conducting content review of the five BINLM modules at Addis Ababa, evaluate training delivery approach from regional to woreda levels and assessing knowledge and skill of sampled trainees in health facilities of the four regions.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
· Engage in finalization of draft content review and knowledge and skill assessment tools,
· Participate in field level data collection training and tool pre-testing
· Conduct rigorous content review of the five modules in the nutrition training material (BINLM) using the standard review checklist and summarize findings
· Record field level data of both qualitative and quantitative nature from regional health bureau to health facility level
· Ensure the quality of the data collected at field level.
· Communicate with appropriate regional/zonal/woreda health office personnel to clarify the objective of the assessment.
· Update progress to SCI study leads and Federal Ministry of Health supervisors as per agreed schedule
· Ensure appropriate use of the assessment resource,
· Ensures all forms and questionnaires are ready before the start of the assessment

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |
·
· At least two years’ previous experience in in developing training modules including BINLM and participated in providing Training of Trainers on related trainings
· Knowledge of local language is advantageous
· Very good skill in communication and report writing
