General Assignment:
Implement the logistics policy of the mission to ensure good logistical performance, provide the best possible support to the supply chain, function, and build the logistics team capacity in this area.
To ensure the smooth running of the mission supply chain (planning, procurement, and transport, stock).
Objective 1: Optimize the management of procurements (Capital office requests, UBPRs & HQPRs)
- To be responsible person for receiving and reviewing upper base PRs from different bases and capital; then, assign to the purchasers for further the procurement processes
- Follow-up and collect PRs from Addis Ababa office and filed office as predefined schedules
- Follow-ups the procurement status and share the updates to the bases and capital management team on weekly basis
- To be the focal person for reviewing and compiling audit related quires and coordinate with bases logisticians to collect necessary documents and provide feedback
Objective 5: Archiving
- Archive procurement documents as per Action Against Hunger archiving procedure.
Objective 6: Reports for capital office Supply activities
- Prepare procurement activities monthly report and submit within the reporting timeframe
- Share updated Addis Ababa office PFU to all field offices on weekly basis
Educational Qualifications and Skills Required:
Diploma / Level of studies: B.A. degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management/Business Administration or equivalent field of studies and at least 5 years’ work experience on the similar position.
Required skills:
Experience in fleet management, stock management and asset management, in project cycle management– Good organizer – Rigour – Good analytical capacity – Team spirit – Good communication and relations with people.
