Purpose of the Position:
The Rehab Center Manager will play a central role in ensuring that the main elements of the projects/programs and related services are achieved in a timely and effective manner. As a whole, the Rehab Center Manager is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Rehab Center of the organization.
Scope:
Rehab Center Manager has responsibility for leading on strategic planning, technical advice, and the assessment of project proposals and monitoring of agreed project through the pillar of the Agar Ethiopia and Strategy with a selected number of its partners. Of particular concern is also the need to ensure that comprehensive services that enable survivors of violence and human trafficking to be fully rehabilitated and reintegrated back into the society through provision of support to address their physical, emotional and social needs, including overall healing and empowerment of survivors.
Create Rehab Center Goals: First and foremost, a successful Rehab Center Manager must create clear and SMART Goals that are shared with others in order to provide unity within the programs of the rehab center.
Lead and Manage Rehab Center Staff: The most significant part of a Rehab Center Manager’s job is leading and managing all programs, projects and activities of the rehab center. This part of the job includes outlining all the tasks need to be fulfilled in the rehab center and referring back to the goals, vision of Agar Ethiopia in order to help complete the tasks. The role of Rehab Center Manager also entails supervising, managing and mentoring all the rehab center staff.
Engage the Staff and Community: Engaging the external community is a core responsibility for the Rehab Center Manager because it is crucial in building essential relationships for the center. The Rehab Center Manager should be invested in promoting awareness of the organization’s program to the outside community is essential in order to help the organization achieve its goals.
Involve in Financial/Fundraising Affairs: The Rehab Center Manager is responsible for presenting the annual program budget on time and making sure that all other financial tasks are completed in an efficient and timely matter. S/he is responsible for protecting the assets of the organization against fraud and financial abuse. Involvement in fundraising affairs is also crucial to Rehab Center Manager. It is essential to create a strong fundraising plan with the help of the program and fundraising staff of Agar Ethiopia in order come up with a strong service delivery programs in the rehab center.

Job Qualifications:
Academic Qualifications: First University degree or Advanced University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Social Science. Other relevant qualifications in addition to the above has an asset (Diploma or Certificate in Administration, Humanitarian, Accounting, Logistics, Project design, Planning, social services, demographics/population).
Relevant Experience: Minimum 6 years for BA/BSc and 4 years for MA/MSc experience in program management/project coordination/project control; NGO-based experience in a multi-cultural, multi-national context; experience in the humanitarian field; demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining collaborative relationships in multi-stakeholder processes;
