Job Summary
The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for profitable sales in his/her territory and for developing customer relationships within accounts in the name of PHA. He works as part of the brand team, with colleagues from marketing, sales and medical. The Medical Sales Representative is in charge of creating and implementing territorial strategies and developing long-term partnerships with our most valuable customers.
This role requires a high degree of personal integrity and self-motivation as he/she will be working independently. Strong customer focus and the drive on attaining his/her set objectives are mandatory candidate characteristics.
Furthermore, the job holder should have good leadership skills to effectively align an informal team to meet territorial objectives. The job holder is expected to be eager to stay updated on the medical, marketing and commercial issues he/she is involved in.Essential Responsibilities:

The job holder represents PHA at the interface with the medical profession and must therefore maintain a highly professional and ethical image at all times. He or she needs to utilize a high level of self- motivation, skills, diplomacy and resilience during face-to-face and group contact with members of the medical profession, thereby generating profitable sales of PHA products in order to meet territory sales targets.
The nature of the job enables the job holder to work without daily supervision which requires a high degree of personal integrity and efficient time management. Furthermore, the job holder develops a sense of urgency, i.e. knows when it is required to spend time outside normal working hours in order to meet sales objectives.
