The focus of our work in the country is on vocational education, sustainable use of natural resources, land management and food security, biodiversity and forestry. Further programmes enhance the development of a sustainable textile sector and renewable energies.
GIZ-SURED (Sustainable Use of Rehabilitated Land for Economic Development 2018–2020) will be focusing on the economic development and sustainable utilization of rehabilitated areas. Against this background, GIZ Ethiopia is looking to recruit Finance and Administration Intern for GIZ-SURED-Tigray Project as specified:
Position: Finance and Administration Intern

Tasks:
· Support with compiling and submitting complete financial documents to GIZ Office under the guidance and supervision of the finance and administration officers, cashier and accountants;
· Support with the invalidation and approval of all payment vouchers, invoices, receipts before forwarding it for payment and booking;
· Support in ensuring that financial files are labelled and filed according to GIZ’s regulation;
· Support the Finance and Administration team in filing according to GIZ rules and regulations;
· Support timely payment of utility bills and withholding tax payments by checking the correctness;
· Provide required documents for an auditor whenever Internal or External Control is conducted and assists on follow-up of auditor’s findings;
· Assist with keeping and updating annual leave records of the national staff;
Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience:
· University degree in Accounting, business administration with a focus on finance or related area;
· 0 years’ experience
· Familiarity with relevant accounting software and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel;
· Strong interpersonal and service skills;
· Strong organization and time management skills.
