CCM (Comitato Collaborazione Medica) is an Italian NGO operating in Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan and Uganda, specialized in health-related projects’ implementation, either in humanitarian and development contexts.
CCM has conducted several interventions in Ethiopia since 1982. CCM is present in different areas of the country: it is carrying out interventions in Amhara, in Tigray, Somali Region, in Oromia and Addis Ababa. From a long-term perspective, the organization's projects are focused on strength the local capacities supporting the national health system to implement the health policies and strategies and promote health at community level. CCM projects adopt an approach based “on continuity of care” and they are focused in particular on sexual and reproductive health, maternal, neonatal, child, adolescent health and one-health. In related to the current activities;
Responsibilities:
Supports the Project Coordinator in the implementation of the one health project activities;
S/he has the following major responsibilities:
Overall implementation of the project(s) and related actions, ensuring the coordination and the compatibility of the action with the other CCM project activities (and its partners), all of them under the One Health Approach.
Ensure the implementation of the following major activities:
Report to: Project coordinator/assistant project coordinator
Location: Based in Filtu with field mission to Filtu, Deka Suftu and Kersadula woredas and, when requested, to Jijiga and any location of Somali Region of Ethiopia
