ABOUT THE ROLE
GOAL Ethiopia is looking for a competent, motivated, experienced Senior Donor Compliance Officer for Head Office located in Addis Ababa with a dynamic, technically competent and motivated personality. Senior Donor Compliance Officer will ensure that GOAL Ethiopia is fully compliant with all GOAL, Donor and Government rules and regulations. The person will work across all departments including programmes, finance, logistics and HR and will work under the supervision of the Donor Compliance Manager. Liaison with the Donor Compliance Manager and other Compliance and Internal Audit team s/he will be responsible in creating awareness on donor rules and regulation, maintain GOAL Ethiopia hard and soft copy grant files centrally, facilitate grant management meetings and the coordination of donor audits either in country or through Dublin.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced with humanitarian works with flexible and creative approach, highly motivated and able to take the initiative and work unsupervised fosters working in teams & team work spirit. You also be responsible to ensure current internal control systems are in place and are Donor and GOAL compliant. In collaboration with Donor Compliance Manager ensure all GOAL policies and procedures as well an individual donor rules and regulations are complied with from proposal development through implementation to completion of program activities and providing technical support or create awareness to all departments/staffs in relation to donor compliance issues and review donor project proposal prepared by the responsible staffs to ensure the observation of donor requirements-take account of both proposal/budget formats and the content therein.
Job Requirements
Desirable qualities, Skills and Competences:
Proven experience working on projects funded by USAID/OFDA, ECHO, EHAF, Irish Aid etc.
Excellent writing and spoken communication skill in English
Familiarity with programme design, including log frame, budgeting and grants/report writing
Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to determine priorities and giving attention to details is a must; ability to manage/work along with professional people from operation and finance backgrounds;
High – level skills in MS office application soft ware
Ability to analyses and synthesize a variety of materials in a fast – paced environment
Ability to work on their own, a self-starter with high energy levels and the capability to work within a multi-cultural team
Willingness to occasionally travel to the field;

Salary: Birr 24,148.00 per month
Pension: (11% from employer and 7% from employee)
Transportation Allowance: 10% of monthly salary and 300birr/month taxi fair
Medical Allowance: Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
