An international organization, with formal working agreement with the House of People’s Representative of FDRE and Caffee Oromia regional state – seeks to recruit an experienced, dedicated and energetic Program Manager with immediate effect.
Programme Manager
An experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful implementation of its programme in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, from contract award to project closure as well as managing the project governance, risk, cost, deliverables, time, resources and project reporting.
Job Requirement
Minimum Qualifications:
Post Graduate level Degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Political Science, International Development, or Public Administration.
Thorough understanding of program management, project implementation, planning and budgeting and excellent report writing skills.
Good working knowledge of Ethiopia's parliamentary and political system and its democratic processes.
Experience in a working with a legislature (eg. House of Peoples Representatives) is considered advantageous
Ability to manage multiple projects.
At least 5 years’ experience of implementing democracy-assistance and governance related programs.
Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in at least one of the local languages
General
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
S/he will co-ordinate activity implementation with high-level stakeholders and must, therefore, be able to interact at senior level.
