HOPE Enterprises is looking for a qualified person for the following vacant position for its project located in Herrara Kebele, ZwayDugdaWereda, Arsi Zone of Oromiya Regional State
Major Responsibilities
Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
Develop an annual budget and operating plan to support the program.
Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization.
Ensure that program activities comply with all relevant government, donor requirements and professional standards.
Undertake and maintain statistical records to document program activities.
Implement the human resources policies, procedures and practices of the organization.
Establish and implement a performance appraisal management process for all program staff.
Will be committed to the Organization’s Code of Conduct, as well as, ensure that all staff members have signed it and uphold the standards of behavior and ethics thus established.
Supervise program staff with a purpose of enhancing staff capacity by providing direction, input and constructive feedback
Provide special attention to the sponsorship program and ensure that communication between the students and their sponsors are timely and rich in telling life story
Write periodic reports in English on the program and share copies with Hope Education Specialist, PMEL, Hope communication officer, Hope Directorate and other Management team.
Ensure that the program operate within the approved budget.
Ensure that all financial records for the program are up to date and well communicated within and across Hope finance office
Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control and minimize the risks.
Coordinate, lead, facilitate or participate in field assessments, surveys and evaluations to ensure quality
Play the required role in representing the branch and the organization as the case may be , at different for a.
Accountable for fostering close collaboration with national stake holders ,donors , partners, HOPE Head office and Branches
Job Requirement
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Educational Leadership and Management, Management, social work and related field of studies
Applicant with minimum two years of related experience will be more privileged
Good command of English, Amharic and Oromigna languages both verbal and written
