Plan International Ethiopia is looking for Business Development Manager for Country Office who will be reporting to the Country Director.
Dimensions of the Role
This is a senior leadership position. The post holder will report to the Country Director of Plan International Ethiopia (Plan) and is a member of the Country Leadership Team (CLT). S/he directly supervises five full time staff, manages a team of eight, frequently hosts international visitors from the Plan global offices and may occasionally supervise consultants and interns. The post holder manages a departmental budget.
In line with the five year Country Strategy, the Annual Plan, the income targets for the financial year, the annual Business Development Plan, and current Emergency Response Plans, the incumbent will be responsible to expand and diversify the grants portfolio in all sectors, to develop Plan’s positioning as a partner of choice in our key impact areas, and build winning consortiums. S/he will work proactively with National Organization (NOs) in the Plan family to identify and win appropriate grant opportunities by ensuring the timely and quality delivery of successful grant proposals. S/he is also accountable for grant management and jointly accountable for compliance within the grants portfolio. This is all achieved with the close support of the Grant Acquisition and the Grant Management teams of BDD.
