Context:
Under the overall supervision Emergency Health Project Officer in Addis Ababa, and direct supervision of the Health Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of quality health services as part of the IOM Mobile Health and Nutrition teams, in connection with other IOM emergency and post crisis (EPC) activities:
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
Participate in health and nutritional assessments of women in the reproductive age group, and of children
Minimum required qualifications, experience and competencies:
Education
· University Degree in enrolled Midwifery with additional certificates and training with five of professional experience;
· A holder of a valid Practicing Certificate from a recognized institution
· Field experience in implementing health services for migrants, refugee and displaced persons and other vulnerable groups; including early recovery or post crisis emergency health programming
· Familiar with programs like MDSR(Maternal death surveillance and response) ,MISP
· Previous working experience with INGOs and UN agencies would be an added advantage
· Computer literate
