To schedule maintenance activities for the plant with the operations teams, taking into account Constraints; such as resourcing, production plans, project constraints and historical time to complete tasks
To schedule compliance checks and calibrations that are regulatory and / or according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & FSQ company standards.
To lead a preventive maintenance-based culture in the operations team. Promoting the use of condition-based monitoring techniques to predict failures before they occur.
To build and maintain Preventative Maintenance routes (PMs) for critical equipment as a result of the sites reliability strategy and studies (RCM, FMEA etc).
To plan and schedule major maintenance shuts together with the Manufacturing Manager, to monitor major maintenance requirements & schedule within the best timeline considering all the factors.
Co-ordinate with stores to assure spare parts and consumables are catalogued to enable efficient utilization of the trade resources and to assist with setting up and maintaining a bill of materials
(BOMs) for assets in the CMMS.

Utilize and implement effective continuous improvement processes so as to reduce plant down time and increase plant availability by adopting best practice maintenance planning systems and processes
Be actively involved in root cause analysis for machinery and all the unit operations(processes) in the plant so as to identify improvement opportunities.
Manage the maintenance planning and scheduling process so as to minimize plant disruptions

Provide support to relevant Maintenance Personnel in the analysis of asset and maintenance performance, in accordance with business objectives, and

Job Requirement
Diploma in Electricity, Electromechanics, Electronics or equivalent with relevant technical training.
At least 5 years relevant experience, Understanding of Maintenance
Management Process
Food/FMCG Manufacturing in a GMP environment with a PLC process control machinery system
