Program Monitoring:
· Ensure farm college (coffee and honey), cooperative and other training's are conducted on time.
· Regularly (monthly) receive training attendance hard copies from field program teams.
· Ensure the attendance and cooperative data are entered in proper format.
· Lead data entry quality assurance by regularly carrying out back check.
· Monthly preparing attendance hard copy and sending it to field team
· Regularly check the BAs are properly utilizing tablet base training evaluation and observation.
Survey Design, Testing and Implementation:
· Plan for baseline, mid-line and end-line survey.
· Develop work plan and enumerators allocation for each survey
· Draft budget for the survey and cost breakdown for survey training's
· Manage the recruiting, contracting and supervision of data collectors and data collector supervisors
· Coordinate logistics for survey implementation.
· Ensure the quality of the questionnaire translation
· Field testing of survey and other materials to ensure accuracy, fidelity of translations and regional and cultural relevance.
· Field supervision and quality coaching to ensure compliance and fidelity of survey and implementation activities against operating procedures and work plans.
· Support in development of survey training materials
· Support survey design
· Assist online survey programming using Excel and/or SurveyCTO
· Configure and test tablets and provide feedback
· Testing questionnaires, using tablets, on real farmers and provide feedback.
· Assist in survey implementation and supervise enumerators and supervisor and provide regular feedback regularly.
Reporting
· Prepare Q4 2018 quarterly report (covering the implementation period from October 1st to December 31st 2018.
· Provide weekly report on the progress of program implementation and M&E before one to one meeting.
· Report on the summary of survey implementation and feedback from enumerators and supervisors.
· Provide feedback on questionnaire testing and other reporting as necessary.
· Qualifications in business, economics, statistics or international development-related studies required;
· At least 5 years of professional experience with development research, M&E methods and approaches, including designing, planning, and implementing M&E systems, analyzing and reporting using a logical framework and other strategic planning approaches;
· Demonstrated experience in both qualitative and quantitative research
· Analytical skills, including analysis using STATA software and a working familiarity with other relevant software applications
· Online survey programming using SurveyCTO, ComCare or Salesforce will be advantageous.
· Ability to develop well written, cohesive analyses and reports quickly and efficiently;
· Strong analytical and financial analysis skills;
· Strong planning skills and experience working to strict time-guidelines;
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and project reporting skills a must;
· Willingness to be based in Addis Ababa, and ability to travel to remote rural locations in Ethiopia.
