Invitation for publishing good practice Magazine
SOS Children’s Village Ethiopia was established in 1974 as a non-for-profit, non-governmental, child focused and social development organization mainly involved in addressing the needs of children who are at the risk of losing their families and those without parental care. SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia started its humanitarian work with the opening of the first SOS Children’s Village in Mekelle by providing life-saving provisions such as food, water and health services for a very significant number of children devastated by severe drought and famine. With the development of human and program capacities SOS CVE has expanded and implemented its child development work in seven program locations to name Hawassa, Harar, Addis Ababa, Gode, Bahir Dar and Jimma.
