The Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) is one of the first professional associations in health as well as in other fields in Ethiopia. The Association was established on July 20, 1961 with 100 founding members and through a formal charter granted to it by the then Emperor Haile Selassie I. EMA has also been a member of the World Medical Association since 1994. Currently the Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) is a national and non-profit organization, non-governmental legally registered professional association established to advance and maintain high standards of medical professional services.
Currently EMA is looking for Admin. & Finance Officer for the secretariat office.
Key summary of the position:
Finance & Admin Officer is mainly responsible for the financial operations of the Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) projects. Ensure that the records of expenditures, income, and any other related transactions in the account books are accurate. Ensure that the accounts are up to date and audit ready at all times. Manage the inventory of fixed assets. Helps to develop and track budgets and prepares monthly financial reports for different projects under Umbrella of EMA such as ICAP-USAID, JHU, FMOH and others as detailed below. He/she is also responsible in assisting human resource activities and other administrative matters.
