CIAI – Italian Association for Aid to Children is a child focused International CSO working in different regional states of Ethiopia. At the moment the Organization is looking for a PROJECT COORDINATOR - PROTECTION AND EDUCATION SECTOR to be included among its staff.
Major duties and responsibilities:
The Coordinator will be the general manager in charge of the coordination, implementation and management of the following project activities:
1.1 Training courses for social workers and school and project staffs;
1.2 Improvement of psychosocial care and assistance services for 300 particularly vulnerable and disabled children;
1.3 Community mobilization activities to sensitize communities;
3.1 Rehabilitation of emergency educational facilities;
3.2 Supply of equipment and school supplies;
3.3 Teaching training for teachers in Mai-Ayni and Adiharush camps’ schools and of 2 Mai-Tsebri target schools;
3.4 Establishment of parent-teacher committees and training on children rights and children psychosocial support;
3.5 Awareness Activities concerning the role of girl/female education;
3.6 Support for School Feeding programs;
