Line Manager: Director, Monitoring & Evaluation Department
Background:
Under the guidance of the director for MED, the M&E Advisor, Database Management & Reporting - Maintained Regions will support FMOH and RHBs-M&E capacity as they assume responsibilities of providing strategic information support to facilities. S/He will provide HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services with a focus on DSD, HIV case finding, partner notification, post-exposure prophylaxis, key population services, care & treatment, adherence to retention in care, lab support, M&E and quality improvement activities. S/He will facilitate the collection, collation and processing of HIV/AIDS related program data and timely reporting as per ICAP’s annual plan.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Required Qualifications and Experience:
· MSC in computer Science, Statistics, or Information System with a minimum of 3 years experience, or BSC in Computer Science, Statistics or Information system with a minimum of 5 years experience.
· M& E, of which five years should be in in database management.
· Experience in development of national documents related to HIV/AIDS programs monitoring and evaluation
· Experience in HIV/AIDS Management is advantageous
· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
· Proficiency in written and spoken English
· Computer skills (MS Office and statistical packages)
· The incumbent may be requested to spend 75% of the time on a travel
