Further programmes enhance the development of a sustainable textile sector and renewable energies.
GIZ-SURED (Sustainable Use of Rehabilitated Land for Economic Development 2018–2020) will be focusing on the economic development and sustainable utilization of rehabilitated areas. Against this background, GIZ Ethiopia is looking to recruit Database Management Intern for GIZ-SURED- Project as specified:
Position: Database Management Intern

Responsibilities
· Contribute to database management related to project data
· Contribute to information management
Tasks:
· Support assessment of needs in terms of data management
· Write routines using the statistical package Stata for data cleaning, merging, analysis, etc.
· Produce templates for reports
· Produce GIS maps
Qualifications and Experience:
· University Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field
· 0 years’ experience
· Familiarity with relevant accounting software and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel;
· Solid experience with database management
· In-depth knowledge of computer programming languages (e.g. C++)
· Good knowledge of the statistical software package Stata is desirable
· Fully computer literate
· Very good written and spoken English
· Good analytic and synthesizing skills
· Sense for continuous quality improvement
· Team working
