Further programs enhance the development of a sustainable textile sector and renewable energies. GIZ Energizing Development Ethiopia is looking for a qualified candidate as per the detail below:

Duration of Contract: For Three months with possibility of extension based on performance.
Responsibilities:
The Intern for Renewable Energy Market Development will support the program office in the day-to-day activities in renewable energy in general and in the capacity building implementation of regional cook stove and solar sectoral association. Specifically, to provide support in all upcoming task related to the successful capacity building of the regional cook stove and solar sectoral association. In this respect the intern will act as secretariat for both the cook stove and solar regional sectoral association. Furthermore, the intern will support the data collectors in monthly sales record and compilation of cook stove and Solar retail.
The incumbent has the following major responsibilities
Assist the implementation and monitoring of renewable energy market development processes and activities as per agreed objectives, outputs, milestones and indicators defined in the program documents.
The Intern will act as representative for regional sectoral association in any process and engagement related to the association.
Assist EnDev Oromia and EnDev partners in the implementation of key interventions as per the project document output, deliverables, milestones and indicators.
Document and share all processes, training aids, findings of research and studies for the program/project planning, implementation and knowledge management.
Maintain an overall good flow of communication and information between all EnDev Oromia staff, components and the Oromia regional cook stove and Solar sectoral associations.
Within the context of the above-mentioned responsibilities, she/he fulfils the following specific tasks in the interventions of EnDev ET/Oromia:
Technical Processes
Assist EnDevET/Oromia and EnDev partners with the capacity building interventions for Oromia regional cook stove and solar sectoral association.
Assist EnDevET/Oromia Staff in preparing, implementing and reporting capacity building measures for regional cook stove and solar sectoral association.
Assist EnDevET/Oromia in the development and piloting of tracking system for improved Cookstoves and lean data piloting.
Assist EnDev Oromia and the regional association to create social media page to accelerate communication processes such as event and meeting planning, idea pool cook stove lean data management and impact tracking.
Assist EnDevET/Oromia staff in an upcoming issue related to bioenergy technology market development and sectoral association capacity building.
Assists assigned national and international consultants in related fields and as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Support and coordinate capacity development effort of the association.
Support the regional association in their effort for networking.
Sale Data collection, encoding and reporting.
Knowledge Management
Develop file for knowledge products such as planning document, back to office reporting, monthly quarterly and annual reporting, ToR and concept note as well as procurement and contractual agreements and minute related to ICS sectoral association.
Contributes to the design, storing, processing and dissemination of information and knowledge contents regional ICS sectoral association.
Documents and disseminates information on project experiences and outcomes.
Supports the maintenance and updating of the project-inventory of materials relevant for the Household energy component.
Supports maintaining the project documentation and filing system in consultation with the coordinator of the component as well as with the M&E and KMC sections.
Support collection of information for case studies, community of best practices and success story for publications.
Networking and Cooperation
Event planning and organization such as workshops and meetings for ICS and Solar Sectoral Association.
Following up planned activities with all relevant partners and facilitating communication with partner.
Support the development of social media page to accelerate communication among project stakeholders for event planning, reporting and impact tracking.
Assist the networking of the regional cook stove and solar retailer’s sectoral association with different institutions and projects such as Sectoral association of EnDev Ethiopia regions (Amhara, SNNPR and Tigray) and Sector Network energy for sub-sahran Africa and Ethiopian Sustainable Energy Development Associations.

Qualification and Expiernce
Minimum qualification requirements are a degree in relevant field, such as business administration, Marketing management and development economics as well rural social psychology.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Affaan Oromo, Amharic and English.
Fresh graduate in the specified disciplines above.
Proven computer skills with all common Microsoft office applications.
