Research: Special Needs Baseline Research VSO - TAF
Research Purpose
To conduct a Baseline Research regarding Special Needs students enrolled in the 11 VSO-linked Primary Schools (in Mandura, Dangur and Pawe District) in WDD-/TAF-project
Organizational Context
VSO’s WDD-Project “sharing skills to give thousands of children in Ethiopia a solid base” (WDD) aims at improving the quality of basic education services for the most marginalized children by addressing the critical capacity gaps in the education system. International and National Volunteers work together in Benishangul-Gumuz Region with local partners, like the Gilgel Beles College of Teacher Education (G.B.C.T.E.), to make sure that the teaching and learning process in 11 Primary Schools improves and becomes more inclusive. Recently Talent Foundation (TAF) has joined the project as one of the donors, especially for the supporting of the Special Needs children.
Research Tasks:
A. Gathering quantitative data on:
o whether Primary School offers education from Grade 1-8 or Grade 1-4)
B. Gathering qualitative data:
