Ø Take the lead in ensuring factory’s social compliance performance (including health and safety) are met/in-line with the relevant local regulations, legislation, Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR group guidelines and customer codes of conduct.
Ø Identify area for improvement in social compliance and engage the improvement within the factory
Ø Take lead in reaching the CSR KPI target, identify the area that need to be improve and conduct corrective action plan that has been identified from the KPI
Ø Communicates and update constantly overall social compliance performance with CSR Group, work together with the support of CSR Group to improve factory’s social compliance performance
Ø Keep updated on the relevant local compliance regulations and communicate updated regulation to all related department.
Ø Facilitate external compliance audit by supporting customer communication on the audit, coordinating the schedule, communicate the audit schedule to all related departments in factory, prepare all the documents/data need, complete the factory profile for audit.
Ø Support relevant departments in preparing corrective actions plan, review the corrective actions plan to ensure the corrective action address the root causes of the non-compliance and provide long term solution.
Ø Analyze current work to identify potential risks and dangers. Make recommendations to relevant managers and follow up on corrective and preventive measures to ensure safety of employees.
Ø Periodically audit (internally and with external parties) the Factory to ensure work processes and work environment are in compliance to the relevant Group guidelines and local occupational safety and health regulations. Make recommendations to relevant managers and follow up on corrective actions on non-compliance as needed
Ø Develop, get approval on and periodically update the occupational safety and health management system (e.g. what occupational safety and health data need to be collected, how to analyze the data, how to follow up with the analysis, etc.) and ensure the system is compliant with the relevant Group guidelines and local occupational safety and health regulations.
Ø Analyze and investigate the causes of accidents, illness or annoyance of employees resulting from work.
Ø Promote safety best practices across the factory to enhance the safety levels
Ø Define and communicate the concept of safety mindset and establish measurements for assessing safety mindset.
Ø Provide safety training to all employees on how to work safely and prevent accidents and injuries, to themselves and/or others.
First Degree in Occupational health and Safety or any related field of study and four years’ experience in manufacturing industries.
