General Assignment:
Conduct implementation of hygiene promotion activities
1: Participate in identifying the beneficiary communities of the project:
- Participate in planning social mobilization and hygiene promotion activities.
2: Implement the activities of the hygiene promotion project:
- Schedule activities according to the project’s development ;
- Identify and anticipate problems or constraints ;
- Propose solutions or improvements for better performance of the project ;
- Coordinate and Post distribution Monitoring of NFI ;
- Organize and ensure the documentation of every hygiene promotion activities, NFI distributions, assessments and capacity building activities
3: Participate in the implication of beneficiary communities in the project:
- Identify the community’s technical training needs ;
4: Manage the project team:
- Elaborate the content of the required training and organize it ;
- Organize the Hygiene Promoter’s work: optimize the distribution of tasks
Educational Qualifications and Skills Required:
Qualification/Level of studies: Degree in Public health, Environmental health, education or relevant field and training experience.
Skills: Ability to analyse and synthesize – Capacity to manage team – Good organizational skills – Diplomacy – Relational qualities – Flexibility – Dynamism – Creativity – Knowledge of public health (in particular hydrous diseases) – Knowledge of epidemic diseases like AWD.
Language:- fluency in Oromiffa and English is mandatory.
