Tasks and work description
§ Develop and implement an annual sales plan in order to achieve sales targets based on company’s objectives
§ Prepare weekly / monthly sales reports and target deliveries in order to ensure the availability of accurate sales information that facilitates sound business decision-making
§ Prepare and implement a collection plan to ensure collection targets are achieved and cash flow is maximized
§ Coordinate, manage and drive the performance of the sales team and to motivate the performance of the sales team to achieve higher sales and profitability.
§ Check, analyze and manage the expenses for sales and marketing department to ensure the expenses are controlled within agreed budgeted limits
§ Maintain and develop alliances with existing customers to ensure sound relationships that enhance the achievement of sales and profitability objective.
§ Provide good services to the client and retain clients and business.
§ Keep close contact with clients and provide them service. Update clients on the status of their shipments through the stages of the shipment by email as well as phone and SMS.
§ Follow up on business leads and introductions.
§ Keep close contact with Truck Drivers and Transporters to track our shipments.
§ Keep close contact with our customs operation team to stay abreast of the status of each operation at customs.
§ Update the business operations register
§ Prepare sales and operations report and attend meetings.
§ Coordinate with Accounts department on the transportation payments and Invoice and recovery from clients.
§ Communication with agents, principals and overseas clients on regular basis by official communication channels.
§ Make presentations of the business during meetings (with clients or internal).
§ Mentoring young colleagues to achieve necessary standards at work and skills.
§ BA Degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration or equivalent
§ Preferably experience in construction sector
§ At least 5 years of sales experience, out of which 2 years in managerial position
§ Strong leadership skills working in a complex environment
§ Good communicator with excellent verbal and written English skills
§ Excellent organizational skills, including experience dealing with administrative/operational issues
§ To build and maintain relationship with key customers
§ Keeping track of market, environment and competitors’ activities to retain business share
§ Self-driven, analytical and team player
§ Knowledge of Peachtree and Excel
