To support the SAP Transformation Manager by managing the PTP cycle (Purchase order, GRNI, Invoicing and payment, T&E and Reconciliation)
To transform purchasing with minimal delays to the overall process.
Develop - Work with SAP Transformation Manager to ensure integrity of COA, process improvement in the PTP cycle. Further develop supplier management process and risk.
Manage – Responsibility for managing on a day to day basis all processing ensuring completeness and accuracy of orders processed and payment to suppliers
Ownership by reconciliation of Trade Creditors and all other creditors.
Top Accountabilities
Monitor & manage the invoicing team process – ensuring all operations are within the agreed KPIs.
Work closely Diageo shared service centres to resolve any issues within PTP process, attend operation calls with the team and act as a liaison between market and SSC for any PTP related queries.
Continually implement process improvement from lesson learnt in query logged and action plans from meetings. This will ensure supplier satisfaction and improve service efficiency
Review GRNI items and pass for escalation where necessary
Monitor and action outstanding debt balances, journal postings and credit notes
Manage assigned key vendors and maintain relationship with them to improve performance
Provide support and oversee the activities of the PTP analyst, support Procurement
Provide reports on exceptions, procurement and other PTP
Own and handle the effective embedding and execution of the PTP policy with all relevant stakeholders in the business
Ensure that all the control and compliance process of the PTP are always adhered throughout the year in line with the CARM and GAR Audit requirements.
Manages the development of the department resources through training, informal feedback and individual performance appraisals. This includes; building high performing team, performance management, succession for roles, reward management and employee development.
Own the capability agenda (functional and Leadership) for finance function. By ensuring the necessary capability assessment for direct reports are conducted & needs identified for each finance function based on individual training needs analysis, the finance capability standards , finance career framework and the Diageo values
