EngenderHealth-Ethiopia would like to employee well qualified and dedicated candidates as Program Officers for Afar field program at the duty station of Semera for its ABRI project.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Program officer under the supervision of the Regional Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing management and technical assistance in day to day implementation of EngenderHealth supported Ago projects particularly in the Expansion of Comprehensive Contraceptive and other reproductive health services under Ago Project in Afar regional state. The Program Officer will be primarily responsible for ensuring the achievement of specific project deliverables and targets in Comprehensive Contraceptive (CC), Comprehensive Abortion care (CAC) and related SRH services in his/her assigned geographic areas. The officer is expected to carryout routine activity planning and implementation of filed level activities; coordinate and monitor/supervise timely implementation of program/project activities and the budget utilization under his/her custody. He/She will be responsible for organizing and facilitating trainings, conducting regular site visits, and provide technical assistance including coaching to health care providers working in public health facilities and partners.
The program officer may be required to serve as a focal person and represent EngenderHealth in Afar regional state.
