Job summary
The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assisting Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Main tasks
· Supervise the rooms inventory in Opera PMS and handle any global or category overbooking
· Champion Wyndham Rewards loyalty programme
· Conduct regular associate meetings to keep all associates informed of events
· Prepare work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation
· Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans
· Implement opportunities for quality Team Building
· Maintain all Front Office records
· Conduct duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with Wyndham’s policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained

· Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
· Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
· Report on changes in standards and on performance against standards.
· Complete an annual review of employee manual and operations protocols (SOP manual) and assist in continued development and refinement of this document.
· Effectively communicate and enforce company rules and regulations.
· Continually thinking out of the box looking for ways to innovate and improve guest’s and associate’s experiences
· Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to the Director of Rooms to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the rooms division
· Continuously strives with the team to provide the bespoke and uncompromising service
Minimum Selection Criteria:
· Completion of Level III in Front Office Supervision or related field of study from accredited institution of higher education.
· A minimum of 3 years hotel experience as a Receptionist
