Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain the H&S management System’ of the organization,
· Plan and carryout regular internal audits to ensure Compliance with Legal, Buyers and OSHS 18001 standard.
· Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
· Report H&S non-conformists to management and initiate corrective actions to improve the H&S management system.
· Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
· Conduct monthly EHS committee meeting.
· Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and one working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
· Liaise with external authorities for training arrangement, testing and certifications.
· Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
· Prepare safety instruction, Safety signage make sure all available and prepare if necessary.
· Carry out risk analysis, throughout the organization.
· Carry out PPE requirement analysis. Issuing and controlling PPE
· Assist the department head in day to day activities.
· Ensure aspects that have impact to the environment by your processes are identified and reviews to meet with environmental objectives of the organization.
· Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
Education
University degree on Occupational health and safety, chemical engineering on environmental stream, environmental management
Work Experience
A minimum of 0-2 years of responsible experience as an OHS related work is desirable. Experience in related factory level is an asset.
