Currently, we work with pastoralist, agro-pastoral, pastoral dropouts, rural small holder farmers, rural/urban youth and street children to respond to humanitarian crises and build resilience in Ethiopia working closely with local communities, local government, donors and other key actors. GOAL E Humanitarian Response is centered on nutrition, WASH, livelihoods, multipurpose cash, NFIs and protection interventions in country wide while the recovery and development focus on livelihoods, economic opportunities, health, health and nutrition system strengthening and WASH with solid emphasis on integrated programming and community-based approach in Oromiya regional state. The Street Children programme is implemented with local partners in Addis Ababa and Hawassa.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The position holder will be responsible for technical quality implementation and delivery of the mobile health and Nutrition services in the assigned woreda. She will mainly be responsible for the daily implementation of the ANC, PNC, Family planning, consultation of pregnant mother outreach EPI, health education, sanitation, safe motherhood and child health as per the guideline of Somali RHB mobile health and Nutrition teams. She will also be responsible for the daily implementation of mobile health and Nutrition services package as per the standard, supporting health facilities assigned as integrated mobile health & Nutrition modality and daily dispensary and drug supply management. She will also be responsible for day to day documentation of programmatic activities. The Mid Wife nurse will also work closely with the MHNT and senior CMAM program officer in the implementation of the project.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced with humanitarian works with Flexible and creative approach, highly motivated and able to take the initiative and work unsupervised fosters working in teams & team work spirit, you also be engaged into the overall management of the day to day activities of GOAL Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) Field site. The position holder will work closely with the MHNT and senior CMAM program officer in the implementation of the project.
· Diploma/ BSc in Midwifery with a minimum of four years’ experience in maternal and child health program preferably in NGO out of which two years should be in Mobile health and nutrition projects, preferably in NGO.
· Solid technical skill on case management of safe motherhood, childhood and adult illness.
· Knowledge, training and experience in management of FP, Reproductive health and IMNCI/ICCM,
· Strong knowledge on monitoring and evaluation and report writing,
Desirable qualities, Skills and Competences: (list of qualities that are considered desirable for the specific post):
· Have good understanding and hands on experience on mobile health and nutrition projects.
· Familiarity to the local culture.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary: Birr 13,701.09 per month
Pension: (11% from employer and 7% from employee)
Transportation Allowance: 10% of monthly salary
Hardship Allowance: 30 - 50% of monthly salary based on place of assignment.
Medical Allowance: Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
