A/ EDUCATION/TRAINING
BA/MA Degree in Political Science, Sociology, law, or other related Social Science field.
B/ EXPERIENCE
8/6 years of relevant experience.
C/ TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Ø Strong facilitation skills, conflict sensitive
Ø Proven conflict and peace building programming experience
Ø Experience in conflict management/peacebuilding approaches like proven dialogue methodologies, trauma healing, inclusive programming
Ø Mature, confident, articulate, calm, appreciative, adaptable and friendly personality
Ø Objective, moderate and balanced views and outlook
Ø A reputation for patience, tact and discretion in interactions with others
Ø The willingness and ability to take initiatives when there are opportunities and persevere when there are challenges
Ø No history of partisan political affiliation
Ø Strong commitment to accepted ethical and moral principles and standards
Ø Experience in managing and administering projects.
Ø Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, both beneficiaries and partners.
Ø Fluency in written and spoken English and Amharic.
Ø Excellent written and oral communication.
Ø Flexible, with ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ø Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet and DBase skills.

IV. CONTACTS/KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The incumbent is expected to establish and maintain open and cordial relationship with GO, CSOs, and other stakeholders in order to obtain the required support and collaboration for the smooth coordination and implementation of DI-related activities.
V. WORKING CONDITIONS AND LEVEL OF TRAVEL REQUIRED
This position is located in Addis Ababa, with frequent field travel.
