Company profile: Ahadukes Food Product S.C. is a manufacturing company primarily engaged in food products, Biscuits and Pasta in Bishoftu town of Oromia state. It is a joint investment between Ahadu P.L.C & UK based Vasari investment Group. We hence, invite qualified applicants for the following vacant position.
Role purpose General:
Procurement: To develop procurement strategy that enables effective and efficient purchasing of all key company requirements (raw materials, vehicles, services ); developing long-term mutually beneficial relationships with a core number of key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, best quality and lowest prices.
Warehouse: To manage an efficient, effective and safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of raw materials, finished products, and pack materials ; also responsible for managing company sales depots in Addis Ababa & Regional areas.
Inventory: To execute the Inventory Management strategies in such a way that Ahadukes has the right amount of stock to meet customer needs and overstocking of certain items are avoided to control costs and maximizing working capital.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Procurement
a) Developing procurement strategy
b) Day- to- day purchasing function and monitoring
Produces and submit to the CEO procurement related reports based on the guidelines presented in the company’s Procurement and Warehouse Management Manual
c) Human resource management/development
Warehouse
Inventory:
Qualification: MBA or BA in Procurement & supply Chain, Logistics & supply Chain Management or other related field of study
Experience:
Background in the manufacturing company is an advantage
