Major Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes and directs the personnel & staff relation activities of the Institution;
Ensures that implementation of all the personnel activities as per the HRM policies, procedures and confirm with existing laws and company statues;
Contribute in the development of proposal for change or improvement on salary scale, employee benefits, career structure, incentive scheme, merit reward system and other HR related policies and directives;
Studies existing HRM methods and analyzes procedures to improve work flow, simplify processes and attain cost reduction and submits recommendation to this effect;
Directs studies on employee turnover, absenteeism and the like; identifies root causes and presents solution options.
Ensures the proper implementation of policies and procedures governing recruitment, promotion, transfer, termination, wage and salary administration, records management and other personnel matters;
Coordinates the implementation of personnel policies and strategies and the labor law; resolves procedural problems arising from their application;
Handles employee grievance and complaints & discipline cases in line with the HRM policies and the labor law.
Maintains up-to-date and reliable human resources statistical information;
Ensures that personnel records are periodically updated; controls and keeps personnel files and records;
Administers employee benefit programs such as insurance, leave and health; insures that insurance policy and medical service retention contracts are timely renewed;
Organizes recreational activities and family gatherings to assist in the development of intimacy among staff.
Prepares and submits updated VF MFI staff list as well as prepares report on staff promotion, transfer and resignation/ termination on monthly bases.
Ensures that every management’s decision to demote or terminate a staff is in accordance with existing laws and regulations;
Prepares the Staff retirement and Staff Welfare programs
Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification, Skill and Experience:
MA/BA Degree in HR Management, Management, Public Administration, Human resource & Organizational Development or related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, out of which 2 years in senior position.
