ROLE PURPOSE:
Under direct supervision of the Educate a Child Project Manager and education technical specialist matrix supervision, the EAC Project field based education project officer is responsible is responsible for the planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting of EAC education project in line with and agreed plan of action and budget, donor, SC and government policies, requirements and procedures. S/he is also responsible for stakeholder management, which includes development through capacity building and support, of partners working on the project under supervision, documentation, monitoring and reporting of progresses of the project activities in the assigned districts. S/he will also serve as the technical person concerning EAC project at the field- district location, providing technical guidance and supports as necessary, including guidance on appropriately integrating EAC project into education regular education programs as relevant. S/he will be responsible to document implementation lessons, best practices and innovations to inform the successful implementation of EAC project activities.
