National Podoconiosis Action Network (NaPAN) was formed in 2011 to coordinate the work of podoconiosis project implementing partners in Ethiopia. It was registered by the former Ethiopian Charities and Societies Agency (ECSA) and by the then Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) as consortium of local and international civil society organizations. NaPAN's vision is to see Ethiopia free of podoconiosis. Its mission is to coordinate and standardize efforts for the elimination of podoconiosis and related skin Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), to build the capacity of members and other stakeholders, and to support research for evidence based interventions
NaPAN’s first five year strategic plan (2014 -2018) ended up as of December 31, 2018. Reviewing this plan and the current FMOH and WHO priorities and directions, the General Assembly and board of directors of NaPAN decided to develop a second five year strategic plan which guides NaPAN for the next five years (January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2023). To this end, NaPAN invites potential qualified firms that can develop the strategic plan. The detail information about the strategic plan is found in the Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared for this assignment.
