Market System Development Facilitation Specialist is responsible to facilitate and coordinate an inclusive market system development interventions focusing on building capacities of key market actors and poor people including women and youth to ensure their inclusion. During the diagnosis of selected market systems, the market system development facilitation specialist will focus on identifying systemic issues/obstacles obstructing access, full participation and benefiting of target groups from market systems and economic opportunities. Based on the findings, the specialist will facilitate and provide support for full participation of all key market players, design and facilitate strategic interventions to address the identified bottlenecks. More importantly, S/he will take technically leading and work with the rest of Skill Development Sector team in terms of facilitating innovative business case and partnership developments, and providing facilitative supports to strategic partners during the implementation of agreed systemic interventions. S/he is responsible to liaison with key stakeholders including TVETs, Ministry of Youth and Sport, Ministry of Women and Children, local government departments, private sectors, youth associations etc. In addition, work involves considerable monitoring, assessing and providing detailed reports to line manager.
