ROLE PURPOSE:
Working under the guidance of the Head of Financial Reporting
Job specific roles and responsibilities
Inception of awards:
· Support budgeting and award unit team in review and upload phased budget in the system whenever budget revision conducted (during first forecast, second forecast and Zero forecast).
Monitoring:
Reporting:
Audit and close-out:
· Participate in the close out process of an award including completing all final financial reconciliations at close out, ensuring no additional expenditure is charged beyond what is reported and reconciling with income claims.
· Confirm to Awards when complete and sign off financial steps on the Award Close Out checklist.
· Ensure any final disallowances are properly accounted for/written off from award
· Provide support to Award Audits as required
