Project Implementation and management support
· Development of all relevant technical tools for monitoring, evaluation, activity & communication materials for the MHPSS interventions validated by HQ MHPSS TA.
· Develop and use psychosocial support checklist and tool in order to respond for psychosocial problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma as well as other psychopathologies IDPs faced.
· Establish Mobile Safe Space (Children and women) and define its regular field schedule together with mobile protection team and Project Manager.
· Take lead in development of selection criteria for community and para social workers then contribute for recruitment of community /para social workers
· Coaching and on job technical support and training to community /
· Facilitate community conversations and awareness raising activities using IEC and on events in collaboration with Woreda Women and Children Affairs on services provided by HI established children and women friendly inclusive safe spaces.
Proper Documenting and record keeping
· Ensure proper documentation of the project and efficient use of project’s resources.
· Produce activity reports for each activity implemented and carry out regular recording and reporting of activities, field trips in coordination with other team members, including NRC ICLA team.
· Coordinate with partners and local stakeholders to provide inputs for the periodical reports to be submit to the Project Manager as required.
Develop resources and conduct capacity building/awareness-raising initiatives
· Take part in development of user-friendly awareness-raising IEC material.
· Conduct stimulating and effective training and information sessions.
· Translate short documents or review the translation of materials in local language.
Maintain a high quality of work
· Maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in understanding needed responses to the sexual and GBV survivor’s protection issues of IDPs and host community.
· Coordinate with partners (including NRC) to ensure the project and its activities comply with local laws and regulations, HI standards and donor requirements.
Responsible for implementing the safeguarding policies at project level
· Prepare work plans and implement safeguarding (Child Protection, Prevention of beneficiary Sexual Exploitation and Abuse [PSEA] activities.
· Respect and ensure compliance to the HI’s crucial safeguarding policies (protection of beneficiaries from sexual exploitation and abuse, child protection, anti-fraud and bribery and code of conduct).
Relationship management
· Work in cooperation and partnership with local government stakeholders to realize the project objectives.
· Create and maintain conducive working relationships with protection partners, Zone and Woreda Women & Children Affairs, DPPO, Health, Justice, Education Offices, host communities, beneficiaries, project staff and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of the project activities.

Education: Bachelor degree in psychology or Counseling or related field
Experience:
Essential:
· Minimum of 3 years of psychosocial programming experience in emergency /crises context.
· Knowledge and experience of psychosocial programming in the humanitarian context essential.
· Good knowledge of psychosocial support basic principles and PSS key messages to vulnerable children and caregivers.
· Knowledge of child and adult development and learning.
· Good knowledge of basic facilitation skills.
· Knowledge of safe identification and referral principles
· Knowledge of working area language (Somali) is a Must.
Desired:
· Computer literacy (Word, Excel and Power Point).
· Ability to work in remote areas of Liben zone with frequent travel to IDP sites.
· High degree of confidentiality.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work with teams and develop team spirit.
· Diligence and attention to detail.
· Never been convicted, free from khat, smoking, alcohol and substance abuse addictions.
