Livelihoods Improvement for Women and Youth (LI-WAY) is a five-year program implemented by a consortium of partners composed of SNV Netherlands Development Organization (lead), Mercy Corps, Techno Serve and Save the Children with the financial support from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
Objectives of the assignment
The selected Business development service provider will perform from its own office in Addis Ababa through demand-based and ongoing business advisory services for establishment of new MEs and enhancing the performance and growth of existing ones. The services will be provided for selected target groups of two approved interventions (Digital marketing service, outsourcing for MEs and Public-private partnership bazaar Service) of the microenterprise sector led by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation.
The purpose of the assignment is to ensure that the project target groups have enhanced their capacities to realize and materialize their small start-up businesses by receiving comprehensive specialized business management training, development of business models in coherence with markets, as well as coaching and business promotion and development services. These includes training, business start-up and development, coaching on the business grow-up, promoting and marketing the business. The overall purpose of the BDS is for developing and delivering demand based and on-going customized support service with well-developed and clear plans presented weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables.
