OVERVIEW
The Ethiopian government is committed to conducting a national election in 2020; however, independent and constructive media is young and the media operational environment remains challenging. The main objective of the initiative is to ensure the provision of accurate, unbiased and balanced reporting on the upcoming 2020 elections.
CCP is thus looking for (1) a lead consultant with extensive international experience working with media on issues related to democracy, elections and governance to design and provide a training program and tools, undertake Training of Trainers (TOT), and coach the team of trainers who would then train media professionals and journalists on election reporting..
