Project Description:
PMA-Ethiopia builds upon the previous success of the Performance Monitoring and Accountability 2020 (PMA2020)/Ethiopia and the PMA Maternal and Newborn Health survey in SNNP region. PMA Ethiopia features an expanded topical scope, moving beyond family planning to also include maternal and newborn health indicators, expanding geographically to provide greater regional representation within the smallest regions, and an expansion of survey methodology to include both cross-sectional and longitudinal data collection.
PURPOSE
The AAU team will be taking the lead on the programming of the majority of survey tools for the Performance Monitoring for Action Ethiopia (PMA Ethiopia) survey. The consultant will assume a leadership and management role in the programming, testing and finalization of survey tools that will need programming into ODK for four years of the grant, from 2019 to 2022.
SCOPE OF WORK
The consultant will take on the role of lead programmer on this survey. As such, he/she will oversee and manage the planning, execution and finalization of survey tools that will require programming in ODK. As this is a longitudinal survey the programmer will be required to lead and work on the development and refinement of survey tools ahead of each round of data collection. This includes the below overall responsibilities:
