Education Program Manager
Role Summary: The Education Program Manager should take the overall management of the BSRP program in planning, budget management, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the program to the Education thematic unit. Working closely with the Country Office PDQ unit including Education Specialists, Country office education team and other partners such as UNICEF, ARRA, and UNHCR. The post holder will be responsible for effectively manage, coordinate and provide supportive visits and follow-up of the program under the responsibility. The Program Manager will work on the development of monitoring and evaluation plans for the program working closely with an education specialist, SC MEAL department and partners. He/she will provide program progress reports as per the donor requirement as well as whenever needed by the country office or the donor, to keep the donor informed on implementation progress. The program manager will represent SCI at external forums/meetings as required in consultation with the sector head, to position the achievements of the project that he/she is responsible for.

Dimensions: Save the Children works in regions in Ethiopia with a current staff complement of approximately - staff and current expenditure of approximately $90+ million each year
