Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Research potential vendors
2. Prepare Purchase Order (PO) including necessary information on material/asset code, specification, quantity, price, delivery date, payment and vendor contact details.
3. Compare and evaluate offers from Suppliers
4. Track orders and ensure timely delivery
5. Receive and inspect goods/services according to PO specifications and that all goods are in good condition. Ensure Good Delivery/Receiving Note (GRN) is issued and signed.
6. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
7. Prepare reports on Purchases, including cost analyses
8. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
9. Report periodically as specified by direct manager
Job Requirements:
- B.A. Degree in logistics and supply chain Management, management, business management, accounting or related business fields with a minimum 2 years direct experience in similar position.
- Thorough knowledge of spoken and written English (MUST)
- Strong Microsoft office skills (MUST)
- Strong learning culture and positive attitude
