Our client is one of the largest Construction Material Companies in Ethiopia and currently recruiting an HR Manager reporting to the CEO. Primary responsibilities will be Developing and implementing HR strategies, HR policies, attraction, development, and retention of talents in line with the overall business strategy.
Responsibilities
Develop and administer key HR policies and processes around talent management, coaching, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and recruiting for the company
Develop and implement training programs across the company.
Develop intermediate/short-range departmental goals and objectives in partnership with Management.
Develop and implement Performance Management and Succession Planning systems
Develop and maintain HR metrics to determine the value and effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Work with other managers to coordinate division operations and activities; plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and resources to meet departmental goals.
Resolve people-related problems, complaints or grievances.
Job Requirement
Required Skills
Knowledge of modern Human Capital Principles
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing employee management including assessments and audits, standards and benchmarks, evaluation of program effectiveness, and resolution of problems, bottlenecks, and deficiencies.
Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning and forecasting including people allocation; corporate and human resource policies and benefits; leadership.
Detailed, accurate, and organized; Ability to inform others about company benefits, policies, and procedures.
A proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all levels
Ability to establish and communicate clear priorities and to influence others to support and act on those priorities.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Public Development or related field.
At least 8 to 10-year experience as HRM and working experience in similar industry
At least 8 years + experience in strategic HR management roles.
