ROLE PURPOSE:
SCOPE OF ROLE
Reports to: Thematic Director for Child Protection and Migration
Dimensions: Save the Children works in all 8 regions in Ethiopia with a current staff complement of approximately 2,400 staff and current expenditure of approximately $155 million in 2016. The country office runs approximately 100 active projects and is typically actively positioning for, developing, or revising 20-35 unique proposals at any given time. We work in humanitarian and development contexts to meet needs of children. All programs and proposals must adhere to internal quality standards and procedures.
Staff directly reporting to this post: No direct reports to the position, but will have dotted line technical management of CP in Emergencies (CPiE) Specialists deployed at the Hub Offices.
Close collaboration with: technical specialists from different thematic areas (education, livelihoods, health) and Senior Migration Specialist, the humanitarian unit, and program implementation teamsKEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
