MSH seeks to recruit highly-motivated and result-oriented individuals for the Elimination of Tuberculosis from Ethiopia (ETBE) Project, a five-year USAID-funded project with the goal of reducing TB incidence and mortality by improving the quality, access, utilization, and sustainability of TB services. The project builds on the work of previous USAID activities (Challenge TB, HEAL TB, TB Care, and others) that have been supporting the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Program (NTLP) to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) and STOP TB milestones. ETBE’s support focuses on improving access and utilization to quality and patient-centered JOB ID: R35comprehensive TB services.
This is a senior regional manager and technical lead for the Eliminate Tuberculosis in Ethiopia (ETBE) project for the region. S/he represents ETBE project at regional level and will be responsible for establishing relationships with public and private sector representatives in the assigned region. S/he will work in close coordination with the Regional Health Bureau, Zonal Health Departments, Regional Laboratories, Woreda Health Offices, other partners working in TB, MDR TB and HIV in the region. Creates effective coordination of ETBE activities. The Regional Manager will also supervise the regional technical advisors and zonal cluster coordinators in the respective region.
