Job Summary
Under the supervision of Payroll Manager, is responsible for preparation of all payroll and related payments, legislative reporting related activities, working closely both with HR and Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform payroll accounting, make payroll entries and maintain payroll files. |
· Prepare employee salary statements and process payments. |
· Perform payroll calculations, changes, and deductions. |
· Analyze payroll issues and provide appropriate action plans. |
· Maintain payroll files and generate periodic payroll reports to Managers for review |
· Ensure all payroll procedures are in line with governmental laws and policies. |
· Updating payroll files and general ledger |
· Resolving payroll issues |
· Issue employee payments, considering various deductions |
· Calculate taxes and prepare tax forms based on ERCA regulations. |
· Ensure that benefits Taxation, Payroll processes are in compliance with government Laws, Payroll Policies and Procedures |
· Oversee employee salaries |
· Ensure payroll and tax documents are accurate |
· Prepare accounting files, records, and schedules |
· Monitor paid and unpaid leaves |
· Process overtime and other earnings |
· Resolve payroll problems |
· Address payroll inquiries from employees in a timely manner. |
· Assists internal and external auditors in providing the necessary documents as required. |
· Oversee Payroll staff and fill in for the manager as needed and prepare work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage. |
· Performs other related duties as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor. |
